Within the framework of the !ENTER Youth Week, which took place between 7 and 12 July in Strasbourg, France, the
Lisbon Youth Centre (CJL) was present with a delegation comprised of 6 young people from the youth
association Lifeshaker and 2 young people from the Portuguese Refugee Union, accompanied by the CJL youth
worker, Filipe Costa.
This week, organised by the Youth Department of the Council of Europe (CoE), gathered youth workers and
young people from 48 countries who, in group, reviewed the ENTER Recommendations on the access of young
people from disadvantaged neighborhoods to social rights, adopted by the Member States and their partners, and
was also integrated in the commemorations of the 70th anniversary of the Council of Europe.
The young people from the CJL delegation participated in various workshops where they had the opportunity to
learn more about social rights and to contribute with their experiences in order to survey the main challenges
which hinder the access of young people from disadvantaged neighborhoods to social rights
